Our Story
I started my passion project in January 2020 as a Home Baker and have always been interested in desserts as I have a sweet tooth myself so indulging in my passion and making it a reality could not be a better business idea I could think of, especially in a pandemic.
My collection of authentic premium baklavas are handcrafted by me and made using zero preservatives, chemicals or artificial colouring.
I offer a wide range of Baklavas with rich flavours celebrated in the Middle east. Since I am born and bread in Kuwait I wish to serve everyone authentic Middle Eastern flavours.
I also curate gift boxes and baskets with utmost opulence with our large variety of handmade Baklavas, assorted stuffed Dates, Paan Mukhwas and premium quality saffron imported from Iran. We aim to bring in excitement into your day-to-day life and indeed your special occasions.

Our Story
AF Desserts was started by Yakuta Abedin Khanwala with the idea of bringing a little bit of the Middle East and her personal favorite desserts she grew up eating to India. Our aim to introduce people here to the simplicity and authenticity of desserts savored in the Middle East. We want to bring our customers moments of happiness through our products. So far we can proudly say that we’ve been a part of hundreds of special occasions and moments while maintaining authenticity giving a taste of Kuwait in India.
We offer a range of freshly baked desserts including our award-winning baklava, kunafa, stuffed dates, dessert jars and much more. All our products are produced in our Kitchen in Pune with zero preservatives, chemicals or artificial colouring, utmost care and precision. We ship a variety of products all across the country.
We also cater to a large number of custom gifting, cakes, corporate gifting orders and other celebrations. We’ve won a few awards over the past few years which include Best Home Baker Food connoisseur West India, International excellent award for home baker & The Meritz Award.

Why af desserts
We love the Middle East. Since I was born and raised there. The food from there especially the desserts need to be known and tasted by my fellow countrymen since I now live in India and after seeing there are very few authentic makers of the kind of desserts I make, I started my journey from my home kitchen in 2020 and ever since my goal has been to offer India a taste of this passion and be a part of all your joyous occasions.
